Impact Blueprint: Where High School Students Cross the Bridge into Capability
Real businesses. Real problems. Real solutions.
This isn’t a classroom simulation — it’s a career-world collaboration.
Impact Blueprint, by Greg Twemlow, is an Experiential Learning workshop that immerses students in the art of innovation. It combines structured teamwork, AI mentors and design thinking to solve real challenges and deliver tangible impact. The workshop is an immersive, two-day learning experience designed to bridge the gap between school and the career world. The student cohort is organised in teams of six to eight students who engage directly with real businesses to solve authentic innovation challenges using structured thinking, teamwork, and AI collaboration.
Throughout the workshop, students:
• Develop an Innovation Playbook that captures their analysis, insights, and proposed solution.
• Learn to think like designers, uncovering hidden needs and opportunities in a business context.
• Create using AI as an ideation partner, interacting with a carefully chosen innovation mentor to expand and refine their thinking.
• Present their ideas professionally, creating a team-based slide presentation communicating clarity and creativity.
• Explore solution delivery potential, with some teams invited to offer their solution as a real-world project supported by AI.
The workshop doesn’t simulate real work — it is real work. Students leave with a tangible product, a significant boost in confidence, and the experience of collaborating on something meaningful beyond the classroom. This confidence boost is a key outcome of the workshop, preparing students for the challenges of the professional world.
